Simon B. Luseno

Mr. Simon B. Luseno comes from a financial management background with 32 years of work experience in Customs and Tax administration acquired during many years of working at the Kenya Revenue Authority. During this period he acquired various unique skills through advanced training and interaction with other EAC and continental Revenue Authorities. He is an expert in; Tax Planning and Fiscal Policy Management, Strategic Management, Regional Integration & Development negotiations, Entrepreneurship, and Business Environment Risk Management. He is a senior Member of the Kenya Institute of Management and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Besides Government Service, Mr. Luseno is the Executive Director of Besec Investments Limited; a private Investments and consultancy firm in business management and leadership. He is also involved in various community awareness and capacity-building programs. Currently, he is on the Board of Management, and Chairman of Musali Secondary School. He is a founding member of WEA Tudumu SAACO; a community-based organization and WEA DEN Investors Group.

His highest academic level is; an MBA in Corporate Finance from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) School of Finance. He also holds an MBA degree in International Business Management from the University of Nairobi and a B. Comm (Accounting) degree from the University of Nagpur, India. He has worked as an intern at the Green Climate Fund in Seoul, Korea where he had interaction with the following green climate programs; green accounting, green technology, and commercialization, green fund investment and green corporate finance.
