Simon Luseno

Simon B. Luseno is an accomplished Tax and Fiscal Policy expert in Kenya with over 32 years of experience in Customs and Tax administration at the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). During his service, he gained advanced skills through regional and continental engagements with other Revenue Authorities across the East African Community (EAC) and Africa.

Simon specializes in Tax Planning, Fiscal Policy Management, Strategic Management, Regional Integration, and Risk Management in business environments. His expertise extends to guiding businesses and institutions in navigating complex tax challenges while aligning with national and regional fiscal frameworks.

Beyond government service, Simon is the Executive Director of Besec Investments Limited, a consultancy firm in business management and leadership. He is also a senior member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI). His commitment to community impact is evident through leadership roles in Musali Secondary School, WEA Tudumu SACCO, and the WEA DEN Investors Group.

Academically, Simon holds an MBA in Corporate Finance from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), an MBA in International Business Management from the University of Nairobi, and a B.Com in Accounting from the University of Nagpur, India. He also completed an internship with the Green Climate Fund (Seoul, Korea), where he engaged with programs in green accounting, green technology, and green corporate finance.
